Javadekar to Hold Interaction with VCs of Universities and Directors of IIMs
The interaction is being conducted to discuss various issues related to higher education.
Union Minister of Human Resource and Development will hold an interaction with the vice-chancellors of all the universities across the country atBanaras Hindu University. The official date is not confirmed and will be announced soon. It will be the first interaction with VCs by the HRD Minister after assuming the charge.

Similarly, the minister is also planning to interact with the directors of Indian Institutes of Management atIIM Shillong. The official date will be announced soon.
The officials of HRD Department said that the minister had planned a series of meetings with the higher educational institutions. He had already met the directors of IITs and discussed issues with them.

The objective of the interaction is to discuss various matters related to higher education like vacancies in faculty positions, funding and so forth. The ministry is also working consistently to improve the capacity of higher education and to promote quality of education.
