JEE Main 2022 aspirants who were upset with technical glitches, wrong calculation in the response sheet and uneven marks vs rank have called for a massive protest at Jantar Mantar on August 10 from 7 AM to 11 AM. Many students have tagged CollegeDekho and popular media on Twitter seeking support for the protest. Few students noted that even though their marks were increased at the 2nd attempt, the is a drop in percentile. After the JEE Main result 2022 was out on August 8, the demand for the third attempt increased.

Important Student Issues on JEE Mains Result 2022

Here are some of the issues mentioned by students on social media regarding JEE Main result 2022 -

  • In a few centres across the country, there were technical glitches while the exam was happening because of which response sheets were not submitted properly
  • After the response sheet was released for Session 1, a few students pointed out mismatches. For instance, a student answered and submitted 62 questions and the response sheet showed only 32 questions answered. The students further noted that NTA did not consider their grievances
  • A few students noted that after the Session 2 result was out, there was some mismatch with regards to marks and percentile. For example, a student's score was increased in 2nd attempt but the percentile was dropped by 1 per cent

Citing all the above reasons along with some other issues, a section of JEE Main 2022 aspirants called for a protest at Jantar Mantar on August 10.
