Students taking the JEE Main test 2024 in the forthcoming shifts of April 6, 8, and 9 can use the JEE Main 2024 April 5 Shift 1 comprehensive question paper analysis to determine the difficulty level. Overall, Day 2 Shift 1 was moderate. Mathematics was lengthy and calculative, but the questions were manageable. Chemistry was simple, with organic chemistry dominating the section. Physics was a little trickier than Day 1 Shift 1 but manageable. The April session of JEE Main 2024 has a comparable difficulty level to the January session. Similar questions were asked, with little change. However, there are mixed responses.

Students who took the April 5 Shift 1 exam advised other students who will take the exam in the next shifts to take Chemistry first, then Physics and Chemistry. "Formulas" should be reviewed in Physics and attempted within 50 minutes. Mathematics must be attempted last, followed by increasing experience with PYQs.  The Day 1 exam had a 'Moderate' difficulty level.   • On average, students took 50 to 60 minutes to solve Physics section.
  • No question from GOC was asked in chemistry this time.
  • Students were able to attempt chemistry section within 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Mathematics section on average took more than 80 minutes to solve the questions by aspirants.
