JoSAA Round 6 Seat Allotment 2025 Release Time: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is planning to publish the seat allotment for JoSAA Round 6 Counselling 2025 on July 16 at josaa.nic.in . The seat allotment will be accessible to all registered candidates via their JEE Main or JEE Advanced login credentials. Once the allotment list goes live at 5 PM, candidates can check their allotment status and download their provisional allotment letters, which confirm their seat offers. The online self-reporting, fee payment and document upload window opens immediately after release and remains active until July 20, 2025 (5 PM).
Candidates must pay the seat acceptance fee, INR 30,000 for General/OBC-NCL/GEN-EWS categories and INR 15,000 for SC/ST/PwD, within the given timeline to secure their seats. The exam authority will not notify any candidate about their allotment through SMS/email.

Round 6 is the final chance for aspirants aiming for seats in the 23 IITs, and no further rounds for IITs are expected from the JoSAA. To access the results, candidates should visit the official portal of JoSAA, click on the “View Seat Allotment Result - Round 6” link, and log in to download their provisional allotment letter. As there will be no option to float or slide in Round 6, so, if your allotted seat is in a reputed institute and the branch is decent, aspirants must opt for Freeze option or exit from the counselling process.
