KCET Revised Ranks 2022 to be announced on October 1: KEA confirms officially
KCET 2022 revised ranks will be released on October 1 as per the official information disclosed by KEA. The counselling process will begin on October 3.
Karnataka Examinations Authority has officially confirmed that the KCET 2022 revised ranks will be released on October 1. The ranks were supposed to be released on September 29 but the same has been postponed due to reasons unknown. The ranks of KCET 2022 have been revised as per the orders of the Honorable High Court. The candidates are required to keep their CET Numbers ready to check the revised ranks of KCET 2022.

Both repeater and freshet students will witness a change in ranks of KCET 2022 as per the latest revision done by KEA. The expert committee of KEA suggested a special method to determine the KCET 2022 ranks for repeater students. 94% marks from the PUC 2 exams 2021 will be taken into consideration to determine 50% weightage and 50% weightage will be given for KCET 2022 ranks.
As the ranks of repeater students will undergo slight changes, the ranks of fresher students are expected to undergo minor to major changes. For fresher students, 100% PUC marks will be taken into consideration to determine the 50% weightage.
As KEA has officially confirmed the date for the announcement of KCET 2022 ranks, the candidates need to be ready for the counselling process which is set to begin on October 3. The good news for all candidates is that 10% of seats in IT-related B.Tech specializations will be increased so that everyone gets equal justice in seat allotment. The same was submitted to the court on September 23 and received approval from the Honorable Divisional Bench of Karnataka HC.
