KLU to Organise 8th Convocation Ceremony on February 13
KL University's 8th convocation ceremony will take place on 13th February 2019. The 8th convocation ceremony will be held in the convocation hall of the campus.
KL University (Andhra Pradesh) will have its 8th convocation ceremony on 13th February 2019. The KL University 8th convocation ceremony will be held in the convocation hall in the campus itself. The chief guest for the occasion is Infosys Founder Chairman Narayana Murthy.
RR Lakshmikantham, Registrar KL University informed that Narayana Murthy would confer honourary degrees to the students and will also address the students.
KL University will award degrees to the students who have successfully completed the B.Com Hons, B.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Tech, Ph.D courses during the 2017-18 academic year. A total of 2,600 students will be awarded the degrees at the convocation ceremony.

Out of the total degrees, KLU will confer 2,100 B.Tech degrees, 149 M.Tech degrees,148 MBA degrees, 131 BBA, 34 Ph.D degrees and 29 BHM degrees. Apart from this, 30 gold medals and 29 silver medals along with cash prizes will be awarded to the students who have secured first and second ranks in their respective courses

Dr LSS Reddy, KLU vice-chancellor said that all the students of the varsity who have applied to receive the Original Degree (OD) in person in the 8th convocation are requested to be present in the convocation hall of the University on 13th February 2019 by 12.30 pm after completing the registration and other formalities.
Many eminent personalities like KL University International Relations Director Dr Kishore Babu, faculty members, research scholars and others will be attending the KL University convocation ceremony.
