Kurukshetra University Digitizes Student Academic Records
Kurukshetra University has digitised all academic records from 1960 to 2014. The digitisation process will help in addressing concerns such as academic frauds, student background check, verification etc.
With the world moving towards digitisation, Kurukshetra University has digitised all its academic records of students of the varsity who have been associated with it from 1960 to 2014. Ashok Sharma, Public Relations Officer, Kurukshetra University informed that the record of over 1.10 crore students has been digitised.
Dr. Hukam Singh, Controller of Examinations, KU said the varsity is under the process of digitising the record of students who appeared in the examination in 2015 and the process will be completed shortly.

KC Sharma, Vice- Chancellor, KU said that the digitisation initiative will help to streamline the system and will also help address concerns like academic frauds, background check, job verification and students seeking jobs or further education. It is also a more reliable way to store the information, he added.

He further informed that the University is coming up with a software through which students will be able to get access to the records. To obtain the same, students will have to fill an online application along with the application fees. Students can avail duplicate DMCs, degrees, provisional and transfer certificates, transcripts and many other academic records.
Kurukshetra University is one of the premier educational institutions of the country and was established in the year 1956. The varsity offers 175 courses in various disciplines of arts and humanities, sciences, management, commerce and banking and others.
