MAH 3-Year LLB CET 2026 LIVE

  • Apr 02, 2026 03:30 PM IST

Day 2, Shift 2 Exam Starts

The final shift of the MAH 3-Year LLB CET 2026 has officially begun! Candidates have 120 minutes to tackle 150 questions—remember to maintain speed in the English section to leave enough "thinking time" for Logical Reasoning.

  • Apr 02, 2026 03:00 PM IST

    English Notes 5: Para-jumbles

To solve jumbled sentences, identify the Opening Sentence (usually a general introduction) and look for "Mandatory Pairs." Pronouns like "He," "It," or "They" usually follow the sentence that introduces the Noun.

  • Apr 02, 2026 02:40 PM IST

English Notes 4: Vocabulary & Idioms

Quickly scan common Legal Idioms like "Status Quo" (existing state), "Ad Hoc" (for a specific purpose), and "De Facto" (in reality). For Synonyms, use the elimination method by checking the "positive/negative" charge of the words.

  • Apr 02, 2026 02:20 PM IST

    English Notes 3: Sentence Improvement

Focus on Tense Consistency. If a sentence starts in the past tense, it should generally remain in the past tense. Watch out for "Had + Past Participle" (Past Perfect) usage when two actions happened in the past.

  • Apr 02, 2026 02:00 PM IST

English Notes 2: Error Spotting & Grammar

Review the Subject-Verb Agreement rules, especially for collective nouns and phrases like "along with" or "as well as." Remember: "The jury was unanimous" (singular) vs. "The jury were divided" (plural).

  • Apr 02, 2026 01:40 PM IST

    English Notes 1: Reading Comprehension

Don't read the whole passage first; skim the questions to know what keywords to look for. Focus on the "Tone of the Author" (e.g., Cynical, Optimistic, Neutral) and "Main Theme" questions, as these are standard CET marks.

  • Apr 02, 2026 01:20 PM IST

Exam Analysis & Answer Key Soon

Initial student feedback suggests the exam was of Moderate difficulty level. We are currently compiling the memory-based questions and will release a preliminary answer key and difficulty analysis shortly.

  • Apr 02, 2026 12:40 PM IST

Logical & Analytical Reasoning Notes 5

Focus on Number & Letter Series patterns, checking for squares, cubes, prime numbers, or alternating differences. In "Coding-Decoding," quickly write down the A-Z ranks (1-26) on your rough sheet to decode shifts in the alphabet instantly.

  • Apr 02, 2026 12:20 PM IST

Logical & Analytical Reasoning Notes 4

Statement & Assumptions: An assumption is something "taken for granted" or unstated. To test it, use the Negation Technique: if negating the assumption makes the original statement fall apart, then that assumption is definitely implicit.

  • Apr 02, 2026 12:00 PM IST

Logical & Analytical Reasoning Notes 3

Seating Arrangements (Linear & Circular) are high-scoring but time-consuming; always start with a "definite" statement like "A sits third to the left of B." If two possibilities emerge, draw two quick diagrams simultaneously to see which one contradicts later clues.

  • Apr 02, 2026 11:40 AM IST

Logical & Analytical Reasoning Notes 2

For Blood Relations, always draw a family tree with clear symbols (e.g., "+" for male, "-" for female) to map out generations. Pay close attention to "pointing to a photograph" questions, as they often involve a twist in the speaker's perspective.

  • Apr 02, 2026 11:20 AM IST

Logical & Analytical Reasoning Notes 1

Master Syllogisms using the Venn Diagram method to avoid confusion with "Some" vs. "All" statements. Remember that if the conclusion doesn't definitely follow from the premises in every possible scenario, it must be marked as invalid.

  • Apr 01, 2026 10:20 AM IST

Last Minute Tip 4: Skip and Mark for Review

Don't let a single difficult Logic puzzle or a long Reading Comprehension passage drain 10 minutes of your time. Use the "Mark for Review" button generously; secure the easy marks first and return to the "time-wasters" once you've cleared the rest of the paper.

  • Apr 01, 2026 10:00 AM IST

Last Minute Tip 3: The Principle- Fact Rule

In Legal Reasoning, the Principle is King- always apply it literally to the provided Facts, even if it contradicts your common sense or existing laws. Avoid overthinking; if the principle says "all red cars are illegal," then in that question, they are!

  • Apr 01, 2026 09:40 AM IST

Last Minute Tip 2: Sectional Time Management

Aim to wrap up the English and General Knowledge sections quickly (approx. 45 mins total) to save maximum time for the heavy lifting. This gives you a "time buffer" for the complex puzzles in Logical Reasoning and the reading-heavy Legal Aptitude cases.

  • Apr 01, 2026 09:20 AM IST

Last Minute Tip 1: No Negative Marking

Since there is no penalty for wrong answers, ensure you do not leave a single question blank. If you're running out of time, use "intelligent guessing" or pick a consistent option for the remaining bubbles to maximize your statistical hit rate.

  • Apr 01, 2026 09:00 AM IST

    Important Topic 10 to Revise

Vocabulary: Quick look at Antonyms/Synonyms and common Legal Terms: Quickly scan high-frequency Legal Terms like Affidavit, Litigation, and Indemnity. For Synonyms and Antonyms, focus on the "tone" of the word (positive or negative) to help eliminate incorrect options if you don't know the exact meaning.

  • Apr 01, 2026 08:40 AM IST

    Important Topic 9 to Revise

Current Affairs: Major SC judgments and appointments from the last 6 months: Prioritize Legal Current Affairs, including recent Chief Justice appointments and landmark Supreme Court rulings from late 2025/early 2026. Briefly scan major international summits (G20/BRICS) and national awards (Bharat Ratna/Padma Awards).

  • Apr 01, 2026 08:20 AM IST

    Important Topic 8 to Revise

English Grammar: Subject-Verb Agreement, Tenses, and Prepositions: Review Subject-Verb Agreement (e.g., "Neither of the boys is...") and the correct usage of Tenses in complex sentences. Quick tip: If you're stuck on an error-spotting question, read the sentence aloud in your head to catch awkward phrasing.

  • Apr 01, 2026 08:00 AM IST

    Important Topic 7 to Revise

Analytical Reasoning: Refresh Linear and Circular Seating Arrangement patterns: Mastery of Linear and Circular Seating Arrangements is key - always start with the "fixed" or "definite" piece of information. Practice identifying "who sits opposite whom" and "immediate left/right" to save time during the actual paper.

  • Apr 01, 2026 07:40 AM IST

    Important Topic 6 to Revise

Logical Reasoning: Practice Syllogisms and Statement-Assumption questions: Focus on Syllogisms (All A are B) and Statement-Assumptions; always look for the most direct logical link without bringing in outside information. Use Venn diagrams to quickly visualize relationships and eliminate "definitely false" conclusions.

  • Apr 01, 2026 07:20 AM IST

    Important Topic 5 to Revise

Legal Maxims: Caveat Emptor, Res Ipsa Loquitur, and Audi Alteram Partem: Legal maxims are the shorthand of the legal world: Caveat Emptor warns the "buyer to beware" of defects, while Res Ipsa Loquitur applies when "the thing speaks for itself," inferring negligence from the obvious facts of an accident. Most importantly, Audi Alteram Partem is a pillar of natural justice, ensuring that "no man shall be unheard" and both sides are given a fair chance to present their case.

  • Apr 01, 2026 07:00 AM IST

    Important Topic 4 to Revise

Criminal Law (BNS Basics – Mens Rea & Actus Reus): Criminal liability under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita generally requires the concurrence of Actus Reus (the physical wrongful act) and Mens Rea (the guilty mind or intent).

For the exam, remember that an act alone does not make one guilty unless the mind is also at fault, except in cases of "Strict Liability" like kidnapping or contempt of court. Focus on the stages of a crime- Intention, Preparation, Attempt, and Commission- noting that "Preparation" is usually not punishable, whereas "Attempt" is.

  • Apr 01, 2026 06:40 AM IST

    Important Topic 3 to Revise

Law of Contracts: A valid contract requires a clear Offer and an unqualified Acceptance (Sec 2), forming an agreement enforceable only if backed by Consideration ("Quid Pro Quo"). Under Section 10, the agreement must involve free consent, lawful objects, and competent parties- noting that any contract with a minor is void-ab-initio.

  • Apr 01, 2026 06:20 AM IST

    Important Topic 2 to Revise

Law of Torts: The Law of Torts is all about "civil wrongs" and unliquidated damages. Unlike Criminal Law, the focus here is on compensating the victim. For your final 5-minute revision, ensure you have these three concepts clear:

    1. Negligence: The "Duty of Care" Test

    2. Vicarious Liability: "Qui Facit Per Alium Facit Per Se"

    3. Strict vs. Absolute Liability

  • Apr 01, 2026 06:00 AM IST

    Important Topic 1 to Revise

Indian Constitution: Fundamental Rights (Articles 12-35) are the bedrock of the Indian Constitution and a "must-know" for the MAH LLB CET. Focus on Article 14 (Equality before Law), Article 19 (Six Freedoms), and Article 21 (Right to Life and Liberty), as these are most frequently tested. Ensure you also review the Writ Jurisdictions under Article 32, which allows the Supreme Court to protect these rights through orders like Habeas Corpus and Mandamus.
