The winter slot of the computer-basedManagement Aptitude Test (MAT)was successfully conducted today on December 17, 2016.

MAT is conducted in both pen-paper mode and online mode. The pen paper mode was scheduled for December 11, 2016, and several students appeared for this format of the MBA entrance exam.

Since the exam has been successfully conducted in both the modes, the organizing authority will now start evaluating the result. The result is estimated to be announced in the end of December 2016. MAT exam score makes a candidate eligible to apply for some of the best business schools in India.

Once the score and merit is announced, candidates can move ahead with their admission process and apply for various colleges that accept MAT score. On the basis of MAT score and other national level entrance exam score, candidates will be called for the second round of admission in colleges i.e. the group discussion (GD), written ability test (WAT) and personal interview (PI) round.

Collective performance in MAT 2016, GD, PI and WAT will be considered for the final admission. Admission process at different colleges may be different. Before applying, find out the eligibility criteria and selection criteria of the colleges in which you want to take admission.

MAT is one of the oldest entrance exams that is conducted as a screening test for admission in various business schools in India. The test was started in 1988 and was given the status of a national level exam in 2003 by the HRD Ministry, Government of India.
