The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for December session, in its pen-paper mode, was successfully conducted on Sunday, 11th December 2016.
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for December session, in its pen-paper mode, was successfully conducted on Sunday, 11th December 2016.
The computer based test or the CBT for MAT is scheduled to be conducted on Saturday, 17th December 2016.
Once both the modes are conducted successfully, the evaluation will be done and results will be announced in the last month of December 2016. Candidates who have appeared/will be appearing for MAT December 2016, will then be eligible to apply to colleges of their choice and further advance in the admission process. Candidates are generally required to appear for different rounds such as Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test to grab a seat in a management institute. The process varies from college to college.

MAT is a standardised test which is being administered since the year 1988 to facilitate a variety of B-Schools to screen candidates for admissions a number of MBA and PGDM programmes throughout the country. MAT was declared as a national level exam in the year 2003 by MHRD, Government of India.
MAT is conducted four times in a year in the months of February, May, September and December. It is a passport for about 600 B-Schools in India.
