MHT CET Registration 2026 Closing on February 12: Last date extension possible; Official update expected soon
MHT CET 2026 registration closes tomorrow, February 12, 2026. Candidates must register at cetcell.mahacet.org with APAAR ID and Aadhaar ID. An extension is highly likely (90-95% chance), possibly with late fees, based on past trends for MHT CET and other Maha exams.
MHT CET Registration 2026 Closing Date:The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, will close the MHT CET registration 2026 tomorrow,February 12, 2026. Candidates who are still there to fill out their MHT CET application form should not miss the deadline and visit the official website-cetcell.mahacet.orgon or before the last date to complete the registration. It is mandatory to have an APAAR ID and an Aadhaar ID for participating in the MHT CET registration process. Candidates without an APAAR ID can create one through DigiLocker. As per the latest Statistical report, a total of 6.27 lakh candidates have already registered for the MHT CET 2026 PCM exam.
However, based on the previous year’s trends, it is assumed that the CET Cell Maharashtra will likely extend the last date of MHT CET registration 2026. For the same, the candidates might pay additional fees if they want to register themselves before the extended date. Likewise, in 2025, the MHT CET registration last date was extended twice. Note that the MHT CET registration last date extended with a late fee. For instance, the MHT CET 2025 registration last date was February 15, 2025; whereas the extended last date of registration with a late fee was February 27, 2025 (and the last date of fee payment was February 28, 2025).
Apart from the MHT CET exam, the CET Cell usually extends the last date of registration for all the Maha exams. Already, the MAH MCA CET, MAHM.HCMT CET and MAH B.Ed registration last date has extended. Considering these trends, it is expected that there is a 90 to 95% chance of getting a deadline extension for the MHT CET registration. However, our experts suggest that the applicants not wait for the deadline extension; instead, they should complete it beforehand.
