NAAC visit at St. Xavier's College of Education - Patna

The college, St. Xavier's College of Education (SXCE) is being visited by the NAAC team from April 11th to 13th April 2016. The NAAC team is supposed to assess the infrastructure of the college apart from the faculty members and the other facilities.

The St. Xavier's College of Education is an unaided - Christian Minority Institute came into existence in the year 1988 & managed by the members of the Patna Province of the ‘society of Jesus’. The Society of Jesus had been established by St. Ignatius of Loyola in the year 1540 and has been active in the field of education across the world since its inception.

SXCE aims at “an integral and personalized training of young men and women through Integral Pedagogy – Context, Experience, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation –to be well-motivated teachers who will be intellectually competent, morally upright, socially committed and spiritually inspired.”

The college has been established under the aegis of the Jesuits are who are responsible for proper functioning of some top - notch colleges, teacher training institutes, technical institutes, management institutes, social institutes, centers of historical and scientific research, centers of the inter-religious dialogue, the higher secondary , primary and secondary institutes. The society has under its numerous centers of learning in various fields across the country.
