Nirma University to accept UCEED 2024 score for B.Des admission:This year, Nirma University will accept the UCEED score for B.Des admission. Before that, the respective university did not accept the UCEED score for the same. As per the official notification, the University will offer BDes in Product and Interaction Design and in Communication Design to the students. In 2024, the UCEED exam will be held onJanuary 21, 2024. Candidates, who are planning to take admission to any of the BDes courses at Nirma University, can check out the admission details here.

BDes in Product and Interaction Design Program and Communication Design Program at Nirma University

Nirma University is the NAAC accredited A+ grade, which will complete admission to its Design courses via the UCEED 2024 exam. As per the notification, the BDes in Product and Interaction Design program as well as the Communication Design Program will be held for 4 years (that is there will be 8 semesters). More specifically, Semesters 1 and 2 will be marked as the foundation year, whereas the rest of the semesters will be for the program specialization.

After the foundation course, the candidates will get the chance to join four weeks of apprenticeship. Also, there will be a chance to do a week internship program at the end of the second year. Lastly, during semester 8, there will be a scope of joining in a four-month-long project work.
