Osmania University to Celebrate 100 Years Celebrations in a Grand Manner
Preparations will start in advance as there are a lot of programs lined up for the 100 years celebrations celebrations.
Osmania University, Hyderabad is gearing up to organize 100 Years celebrations in a grand manner. The university will complete a hundred years in 2017. Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Chandrashekar Rao has appointed an advisory committee which comprises of senior most faculty members and alumni of the university to discuss and give suggestions about the 100 years celebrations. He interacted with the advisory committee and directed them to prepare a list of those who studied at the university and became eminent personalities.

Addressing the media, CM said that the university was established in the year 1917. It is one of the prestigious universities in India wherein early scientists, lawyers, civil service personnel of the 20th century were a part of it. The celebrations will be conducted in an exquisite manner. Preparations will start in advance as there are a lot of programs lined up for the 100 years celebrations.
The advisory will take charge of inviting all the old students who are holding prestigious positions and those who have settled abroad, for the celebrations. These eminent personalities will be felicitated on the occasion.
The Chief Minister also announced that the appointment of VC to the university will be initiated as soon as possible. The government will try its level best to bring back the former regime to the university.
