Prakash Javadekar, newly appointed HRD Minister, has said that accounting the views of all ideological sections is essential for the inception of a New Education Policy (NEP). He also stressed on the need of promoting and motivating research and innovation to carve the way for sustainable development.
Addressing the gathering organised by RSS-oriented Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal (BSM) and Bharat Niti, Javadekar talked about the NEP and related issues that need to be dealt with. Many speakers also emphasized on the need for encouraging Sanskrit.

Reflecting his vision of the Indian education, the HRD minister said that education must be accessible, affordable yet high in quality in order to motivate research and innovation.
Asking for contributions from all sections, he said that there is a need to gather ideologies of all experienced academicians in order to go ahead in the direction of development.

Javadekar talked about the speculations that developed because he was attending the event and emphasized the need to liberalize our mindset and understand that people of different mindsets can exist in one demography.
He said that education must be free from politics and the aim should be to provide education that can lay strong pillars for a lifetime.
