Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023: The registration process for Punjab Police constable Recruitment was shut down on March 8, 2023. Based on the form submission, the authorities will select candidates to fill 1746 vacancies in the department. The candidates who get shortlisted after the application screening process will have to clear the computer-based test, physical measurement test, physical screening test, and document verification round to get selected for the constable roles. The admit card for the computer-based test will be out soon on Punjab Police’s official website @punjabpolice.gov.in. Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Selection Process

The selection process for Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023 is as follows:

• Written Test: Candidates need to sit for Paper 1 and Paper 2 tests. The maximum marks weightage of Paper I and Paper II will be 100 and 150 simultaneously. Candidates need to get the maximum score possible to pass this round.

• Physical Measurement and Screening Test: Male and female candidates need to be 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet simultaneously to be considered for the constable role. Furthermore, the male and the female candidates need to meet the basic parameters for race, long jump, high jump, walk and run, and full squat to be eligible for the above-mentioned vacancies. For males, they must be able to run 1600 meters in 210 seconds, must do a 3.80-meter long jump, 1.10-meter high jump, 1400-meter walk, and run in 720 seconds. For females, they must be able to run 800 meters in 270 seconds, must do a 3-meter long jump, and 0.95 meters high jump. 

• Document Verification: The age of the candidate must be between 18-28 years. The candidate should belong from India and must have a graduation degree from a reputed university. 

Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023: Steps to Download the Admit Card

The admit card for the written test under Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2023 is yet to be announced. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the admit card after the release: 

• Step 1: Go to Punjab Police’s official website @punjabpolice.gov.in.

• Step 2: On the home page, click on the ‘What’s New’ feature. 

• Step 3: Click on the ‘Punjab Police Constable Admit Card 2023’ link. The admit card login page will open.

• Step 4: Enter the credentials and click on ‘Submit’. The admit card will display on another window. 

• Step 5: Click on ‘Download’ to save the soft copy for future reference.
