Key Directions Passed by Higher Court for NEET PG 2025 Counselling
The following are the directions passed by the Higher Court for NEET PG 2025 Counselling.
- The High Court ordered the Director General to compensate petitioners with Rs. 10 lakhs each within four weeks.
- The Principal Secretary of Medical Education in Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, is asked to work on improving the admission process to minimize seat blocking during the initial counseling rounds.
- An inquiry will be conducted regarding the relaxation of admission rules, with a two-month deadline for findings and accountability for any officials at fault.
- Future admissions should allow enrolled students to change courses after the first two rounds, with leftover seats filled in a mop-up round.
- SC reduced the compensation for candidates from Rs. 10 lakhs to Rs. 1 lakh each, highlighting the need for effective implementation of the new framework.
