Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala, Vijayawada organized session on Telugu language
The Telugu Club of Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala conducted a session on the theme 'Mother Tongue-Its Propagation' at college
The Telugu Club ofSri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasalaconducted a session on the theme 'Mother Tongue-Its Propagation' at college seminar hall on 1-March-2016. Prof.Mallapragada Srimmanarayana Murthy, general secretary of Madhura Bharathi was the chief guest.
Addressing the students he said that, "The Telugu language is considered as the sweetest". He felt sad that the Telugu language has been losing its prominence since English is widely accepted and approved all over the world. He felt that The English language is now a hurdle for the Telugu language at the global level.
Around 80 students of Telugu Department fromPB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science,Loyola CollegeandMaris Stella Collegeattended the session.
The principal of the college T.Vijaya Lakshmi, A Naga Jyothi, Head of the Dept of Telugu, faculty and other students were present.
