SRR & CVR College, Vijayawada Organises Ham Radio Training Programme
After the end of the training session, participation certificates were awarded to all the trainees.
SRR & CVR Government Degree College, Vijayawadaorganised Ham Radio Training programme onSeptember 26, 2016, at college premises. The training programme was open to all the interested students in and around Vijayawada.
The inaugural session took place in the morning. The College Principal inaugurated the training programme. Addressing the students, he said that students could pursue training in Ham Radio by treating it as a hobby. He encouraged the students to become licensed Ham Radio operators. He mentioned that Ham Radio plays a significant role during emergencies by establishing vital communication links.

Students and teachers participated actively in the training programme. They were trained by Nageswara Rao, Engish Lecturer of the College. He is also an active Ham Radio operator for the past two decades. He trained them in operating Ham Radio.
After the end of the training session, participation certificates were awarded to all the trainees. It is mandatory for the trainees to attend an examination to become a licensed Ham Radio operator.
