Students of Vaagdevi Degree College secured state level ranks in various entrance exams. The college management conducted a press meet on 6-June-2016 to appreciate the students and their efforts. College Secretary, B. Saritha gave details about the students who secured good ranks in various entrance tests.
Following students secured state level ranks:-
- V. Harsaha Nandinisecured state level 3rdRank in AP EDCET. She scored 84/100 marks. She is the topper of Krishna District.
- P. Sowjanyaof Chemistry secured state level 3rdRank in PGCET conducted by Krishna University.
- Vijaya kalaof Statistics secured state level 4thrank in PGCET conducted by Krishna University.
- 15 final year students of the college secured Government Jobs in various departments of Andhra Pradesh conducted in the year 2015.
College principal, B. Suresh said, “A total number of 89 students secured jobs in campus placements conducted by Wipro and TCS in the year 2015-2016. The college has also secured an overall pass percentage of in the UG 2ndyear results. Students of the college participated in various competitions and brought laurels to the college. The college trains the students in a way of getting success in various competitive exams and entrance tests.
Students were congratulated by the College management and faculty members. Students thanked the college management for being supportive and for helping them achieve this.
