The 'Maseeha of Engineering' - Anand Kumar on KBC with Amitabh Bachchan
- September 8 episode of KBC will feature mathematician Anand Kumar of 'Super 30' fame with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.

The 'Maseeha of Engineering', a Guru to many engineering aspirants and the Founder of ‘Super 30’, Mr. Anand Kumar will be seen on the hot seat before renowned Bollywood icon, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)’ Season 9 episode tonight. The programme will be telecasted on Sony TV at 9:00 PM on September 8, 2017.
Mr. Anand Kumar was invited as a special guest to the programme, the episode of which was recorded a few days back. He answered seven questions and won Rs. 25 lakh. Anup Kumar, an IIT student assisted Mr. Anand Kumar a couple of times from the audience gallery.

During the question-answer session of the programme, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan highlighted a number of issues with respect to the importance of education in the country. He also mentioned about his meeting with the mathematics pioneer Mr. Anand Kumar in Patna when he was in the city for the promotions of his film ‘Arakshan’ that was also themed around education. Mr. Anand Kumar further shared his valuable tips with Mr. Bachchan through simulated classes in the Mumbai studio.

While sharing his experience on being on the programme, Mr. Anand Kumar said that it had been a privilege to share stage with the Shahanshah of Bollywood, Mr. Bachchan. A different experience for him was answering General Knowledge questions and he cherished every moment spent over there. He further added that he has learnt a lot from Mr. Bachchan, in person as well as through his movies.
KBC is a popular TV reality show that tests the General Knowledge of the participants. Each question is worth a specific amount of money which he/she is awarded on giving the correct answers to the questions asked.
