Tamil Nadu School Holiday Update 22 October 2025:Heavy rains have been lashing Tamil Nadu for the past 2 days, and the rain conditions intensified from October 21 onwards. IMD has already flagged a few districts as 'Red Alert' districts due to the heavy rain. Heavy rains have been occurring in Villupuram, Cuddalore, Thanjavur, Pudukottai, Trichy, Kancheepuram, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai, Thiruvalur, Thanjavur etc.As there is a chance of heavy rain on October 22, the school holiday has been announced by the District Collectors of various districts.
