TCS Partners with LIBA to Launch PGDM Programme in Business Analytics
The main of PGDM course on Business Analytics is to bridge the gap skill gap that exists in the country. The course will be offered in both full and part-time mode and the candidates will have the chance to choose any of the modes.
Renowned IT services, consulting and business solutions organisation Tata Consultancy Services has announced its partnership withLIBA or Loyola Institute of Business Administration. Both TCS and LIBA have collaborated to launch a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme on Business Analytics. LIBA will start the course from the coming academic session, i.e., 2017-18. Due to the growing demand for Business Analytics in India, TCS and LIBA have decided to launch a course in this specialisation.

The main objective of the PGDM course on Business Analytics is to bridge the skill gap that exists in the country. The course will be offered in both full-time and part-time mode and the candidates will have the chance to choose any of the modes. For launching the course, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Director of Loyola Institute of Business Administration and Vice-President, HR, Tata Consultancy Services.
Details about PGDM Programme on Business Analytics: -
- The intake of the course will be 30-35.
- The total duration of the course will be one year.
- Tata Consultancy Services will design the course and LIBA will run the course.
- The major highlight of the programme is Train the Trainer Programme (TTT) programme.
- Through TTT programme, specialists of Tata Consultancy Services will provide industrial knowledge to the faculty of LIBA.
- The course designed by TCS also includes Executive Diploma in Business Analytics, which will train the experienced professionals through part-time or weekend programmes.
The course is a boon to the aspirants who want to enter into the digital world. It is expected that by 2020, there will be an additional requirement of 2,00,000 business analysts.

Loyola College, Chennaihas also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Dublin to strengthen academic ties. The partnership has been signed in the field of humanities, which will focus on fostering the deeper collaborations in future by developing historical and cultural synergies between the two institutes.
