TG EDCET Notification 2026:The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is all set to release the notification for the Telangana Education Common Entrance Test (TG EdCET) 2026 onFebruary 20. The notification will officially declare the schedule of the entrance exam for the candidates seeking admission into the two-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) courses in colleges across Telangana. According to the TG EDCET 2026 press conference held on January 28, the online application process without a late fee will start fromFebruary 23, 2026,giving eligible candidates a chance to apply through the official website,edcet.tgche.ac.in, for the course within the specified period. The TG EdCET is the entry point for admission into BEd courses for the next academic year.

Eligibility Criteria for TG EdCET 2026
Aspirants applying for TG EdCET 2026 are required to satisfy the following eligibility criteria.
- Applicants must be Indian citizens and must fulfil local or non-local criteria as per the Telangana
- Candidates must have passed or be appearing in a Bachelor’s degree in BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, or BBM
- Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the above-mentioned degree
- SC, ST, BC, and PH candidates must have secured a minimum of 40% aggregate marks
- There is no upper age limit to apply for TG EdCET 2026
