Total Number of Candidates Registered for Delhi University CSAS 2022 on September 12 & 13

Admissions to undergraduate courses for the academic year 2022-23 will take place through the CSAS portal, which DU launched on Monday. According to a senior university official, by 6 PM yesterday (13th September), more than 34,000 students had registered for admission to undergraduate programmes in the Delhi University through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores will be used this year for admissions. If you wish to apply for CSAS-2022, you must have the CUET application number (UG)-2022. A total of 70,000 undergraduate seats are available across 79 programs at DU.

There have been 34,039 registrations so far on the portal. 24,000 had registered on the first day, according to the official. There is still time for students to apply for their desired undergraduate programs until October 3, giving them a 21-day window. For CSAS-2022, unreserved, OBC, and economically weaker sections applicants will be charged Rs 250 and SC, ST, and persons with disabilities will be charged Rs 100. 

In order to apply for admission through the CSAS-2022, students must submit an application form, select a programme and fill out preferences, and then select a seat and be accepted. CUET scores will be required only after the announcement of CUET results will be made in the second phase of the process. It will be up to the candidate to choose the programs in which they wish to be admitted. To confirm the CUET-UG merit scores for all the selected programs, they will need to confirm the program-specific CUET-UG merit scores. During the third phase, seats will be allocated according to a merit list.
