CAT 2022 exams will be conducted online through the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on November 27th, 2022. The exams will be conducted in three shifts with an exam time of 2 hours for each shift. Candidates will have to attempt the entire CAT 2022 Question Paper within the given time. As per the exam pattern for CAT 2022, candidates will have a total of 66 questions which will include MCQ questions as well as non-MCQ questions. The question paper will be divided into three sections, namely: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning. All the sections carry different weightage as the number of questions from each section differs. Candidates may note the details of the question paper pattern to be better prepared for the exam day.

CAT 2022 Question Paper Pattern

Here is the detailed question paper pattern for CAT 2022 as expected, as no changes were announced by IIM Bangalore. 
The same pattern has been followed since CAT 2021. Previously in CAT 2020, the exam pattern changed and the question paper included 76 questions which was changed and cut down to 66 questions in CAT 2021. Although, before CAT 2020, a CAT question paper had a total of 100 questions to be answered within 3 hours from three sections. The exam pattern for CAT 2021 is being maintained for CAT 2022 in regard to the total number of questions, exam timings, and the division of the question paper.
