UP Govt Announces Laptop & Rs 1 Lakh Cash for Class 10th, 12th Toppers in 2020: Know Details
UP Board has announced laptop and Rs. 1 Lakh cash prize to the 10th and 12th toppers of board exams. The UP Board results were out on June 27, 2020.
UP Board has announced Class 10thand Class 12th results on June 27, 2020. The list of toppers has also been released in the press conference. Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Dinesh Sharma has announced that the government would provide laptop and award Rs. 1 lakh cash prize to the toppers. He further announced that the government would roads to the houses of toppers, and the same will be named after them. This is the novel or unique initiatives that have been taken by the board this year.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath congratulated the students who have cleared 10th and 12th. The awards will be encouraging the toppers and the same will motivate the future aspirants.
UP Board evaluated almost 2 crore answer sheets in 21 days, and the government appreciated the efforts to ensure timely announcement of results. The results announcement was delayed by two months due to lockdown. However, the board extensive safety measures and complete the evaluation process.
This year, UP Board will issue digital mark sheet/ certificate to students, and Class 12th students will be provided with a digital certificate by July 30, 2020. More details with regard to the same will be updated soon.
