Vastyou, BIT Patna fest all set for the Big Exhibition day

Vastyou '16 the annual Architectural Fest of Birla Institute of Technology, Department of Architecture, Birla Institute of Technology, Patna. held recently.

Vastyou '16 is the one of the biggest architectural festivals in Bihar which is held annually at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Patna Campus. The college is one of the pioneers of Bihar’s first independent architectural festival to conduct its own architectural festival.

Vastyou ’16 has dared to be experimental in the past month, with the events of the day coloured by different themes such, Accident day, Halloween day, Retro day, Colour day etc.

The events that were highlights of this more than one-month-long festival are structure by straw, lamp making, nail art making, pot painting, chandelier art competition, cultural art competition etc.

The last two days of the festival included Farewell cum Fresher’s, and also the convocation. Fun events, the exhibition of the work done in the last one month are highlights of the closing of the fest at BIT Patna. The last two days also witnessed cultural and fun events.

The fest had started on 18th of January, 2016 and concluded on 20th February, 2016. Birla Institute of Technology, Patna was established in the year 2006 on an initiative of the state government and is a branch of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchiestablished in the year 1955. The other branches of BIT Mesra Ranchi are BIT Jaipur, BIT Noida, BIT Kolkata, BIT Lalpur, BIT Allahabad and BIT Deoghar.
