As soon as the WBJEE result 2023 is declared, the merit list will also be released by the authorities. A counselling session will be conducted for shortlisted candidates. The WBJEE 2023 merit list is calculated based on the candidate's performance in each subject as well as the total marks obtained. It is also influenced by the candidate's category.
The General Merit List (GMR) for WBJEE 2023 will be prepared based on the scores obtained by the candidate in all subjects of the entrance examination, which include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Additionally, a separate merit list will be created for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank, and TFW Rank. It is important to note that the GMR will be applicable for all rounds of counselling and seat allotment.
