Murshidabad Minority B.ED. College - MMBC

Teacher Training Course for Secondary & Higher Secondary Education, widely and popularly known as B. Ed. Course, is practically, a professional course that provides training to the teachers for Secondary and Senior Secondary Levels. But the Students of the educationally backward places are deprived of studying Bachelor education. Actually the Minority people of Jolange Block and surrounding area had immensely and deeply felt the necessity of a B. Ed. College for pretty long period for un-employed, untrained educated youths. Considering the grim grainty of the situation Murshidabad Minority Education and Development Trust was established in 2008 under the anspices of Mr. Tapas Kumar Mondal, Founder Secretary of Minorva Educational & Welfare Society. Auspiciously this Murshidabad Minority B. Ed. College for providing qualitative training to the disprivileged and deprived large number of trainees of the vast area of the banks of Jalangi river. The maxim that a teacher is not born but made is true to every later. This maxim reflects the need of a B. Ed. College not only for bookish knowledge but also to be familiar with the methodology as to how he/she can easily get to the young learners in a easy and cozy way. The function of a teacher is to knock the door of mind of a young learner. The way he will teach, speak and behave should be helpful for inculacating the sense of values, the ideals of truth and beauty and patriotism in the budding learners. In a word, the approach of a teacher to the learner should never be pedagogical but always propelling and scientific so that they can develop a scientific outlook, an aesthetic eye and a logical mind. Our training college goes on fructifying this mission by way of guiding the teachers along this line of thought.
