2017 CBSE Board Exams will Not be Postponed Despite State Assembly Elections

Amidst speculation of the fate of the 2017 CBSE Board Exams in five states in India due to the State Assembly Polls, students and parents can now sigh in relief. The Central Board of Secondary Exams for Class X & Class XII has confirmed that the exams will not be postponed or delayed.

However, CBSE has confirmed that:

  • No exam will be held on March 4, 8 & 11, 2017
  • The revised exam schedule will be made public by CBSE in the 2nd week of January, 2017

CBSE exams for Class 10 & Class 12 are scheduled to begin from March 1, 2017.
