6 lakh Students Not Eligible for Bihar B.Ed. Entrance Test

The application procedure for the B.Ed. Combined Entrance Test Bihar has started but as many as six lakh students will be unable to appear in the B.Ed. entrance test. The eligibility criteria for the B.Ed entrance exam is that the aspirants must have completed their graduation degree but due to delay in graduation third part examination result many students will not be able to appear for the exam.

According to the reports, apart from Patna University all other major universities have not declared their final year or graduation result or have not conducted the exams yet. Due to which many students will be unable to sit for the entrance exam. The application will be done in online mode and the application for regular and distance course will be accepted separately.

This has caused a lot of chaos and confusion among the students as they fear that by the result will be announced the last date for application for the B.Ed entrance test will be over.

From this academic year, the Bihar government decided to conduct a common entrance exam for admission to B.Ed programme. The main aim of the government was to avoid copying and check the malpractices that used to take place during B.Ed. admissions. Nalanda Open University will conduct the first-ever B.Ed common entrance test.

The question paper will consist of 120 questions carrying one mark each and there will be no negative marking in the paper. The question paper will consist of 15 questions each from General English Comprehension and General Hindi.
