Which college can I get with 80 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 Session 1?
80 percentile in JEE Main 2025 exam is not a good score for open and EWS category candidates. Based on the previous years’ cutoff analysis, it can be assumed that obtaining 80 percentile is still enough for the SC, ST and OBC category candidates to secure a seat to any of the NITS, IIITS or GFTIs.
In 2024, 2023 and 2022, the cutoff for OBC category candidates was 79.6757881, 73.6114227 and 67.0090297 respectively. This is the clear indication that the OBC category cutoff for 2025 might be increased. In such a case, obtaining 80 percentile will be difficult for OBC category candidates to get admission to any of NITs, GFTIs or IIITs. Nevertheless, 80 percentile is a good score for SC and ST candidates.
