Aarohi is a cultural youth festival of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. It is an annual festival which is held in the month of February. Aarohi was started in the year of 1988 with an intention to promote culture among the students on a national level, it has come a long way and has evolved in both ways: qualitatively and quantitatively. It is now believed to be the center piece of the cultural spectrum of the region.
Aarohi is organized and coordinated by a group of VNITians working together in the pursuit of a commom cause, to produce meaningful results for the organization.
Around 5000 students participate in this festival every year.
Concerts are one of the main attractions of Aarohi like:
- Sunburn Campus with Kash Trivedi
- Coke Studio Night with the Raghu Dixit Project
- Indigo Children
- Workshop
- Faridkot
- Parikrama
- MTV fame Agnee etc
It has also been graced by personalities like:
- Urmila Matolkar
- Avdhoot Gupte
- Devaki Pandit
- Dr. Saleel Kulkarni
- Miss. Aryaa Ambekar etc
The fest begins on 26th February’16.
The fest ends on 28th February’16.
