North-Eastern Hill University populary known as NEHU, Shillong invites aplication for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), lateral entry to B.Tech, Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Master of Technology (M.Tech) programs offered in various specializations for the academic session 2016.
Eligibility Criteria for -
B.Tech Program: Candidates with 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical vocational subjects (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) in 12th Exam
B.Arch Program: Candidates in architecture with minimum of at least 50% (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate at the higher secondary or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science as subjects of examination at (10+2) level.
M.Tech Programs: A candidates passed out in B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree having secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

The application fee for admission is Rs. 600/- and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST category and payment should be made online only.
The filled-in application form along with a copy of the payment receipt for the same amount can be sent to the Heads of respective Departments NEHU.
Selection Procedure-
Candidates must have a valid and positive Joint Entrance Examination Main score and/or entrance examination conducted by concerned department.
A merit list shall be prepared based on the score obtained in LEEE-2016 Examination – 2016) conducted by the department.
Candidates must have a valid National Aptitude Test of Architecture (NATA) score conducted by Council of Architecture.
