Admission Notice-Applications Invited for Admission to UG Programs 2016 in BVDU

Applications are invited by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programs for the session 2016 at various constituent colleges of the university.

Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Program

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject.
• The candidate must have obtained minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) on the above subjects taken together.

For BBA/BCA programs

• The candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from any statutory board located in India.

Application Procedure

For B.Tech Program

• The application form can be obtained from the website of the university.
• The duly filled in application form must be accompanied with CET-2016 (Engineering) fee of Rs. 1500/-. The fee can be paid either in person ( in which case it can be paid in cash) or mailed ( in which case it should be paid through a demand draft of Rs.1500/- drawn on any nationalized bank or Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd in favour of Registrar, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, payable at Pune).

For BBA/BCA Program

• The application form can be obtained from the website of the university.
• The application form should be submitted along with a payment of Rs. 1000/- towards entrance test fee in cash or through a demand draft on any Scheduled Bank or on any branch of Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Bharati VIdyapeeth Deemed University” payable at Pune.

Selection Procedure

For B.Tech Program

• Only those candidates who satisfy or are likely to satisfy the relevant eligibility criteria for admission to the courses will be considered eligible to appear for the Common Entrance Test CET-2016 (Engineering).

For BBA/BCA Programs

• Selection of the candidates would be done strictly on the basis of the performance in the B-UMAT entrance test.

Important Dates

For B.Tech Program

• Application forms need to be submitted latest by: Monday, May 16, 2016.
• CET-2016 Date: Sunday, May 22, 2016.
• Result Declaration: Monday, June 06, 2016.

For BBA/BCA Programs

• Application forms need to be submitted latest by: Sunday, May 28, 2016.
• B-UMAT date: Sunday, June 05, 2016.
• Result Declaration: Monday, June 20, 2016.
