About Kamala College-

Kamala College is the only women’s college in the city of Kolhapur. The late Founder President of Tararani Vidyapeeth Hon. Dr. V. T. Patil earnestly desired that there should be a separate university in the name of Tararani – the Great. The credit for making the college grantable within a short period of time goes to Late Hon. Rangraodata Patil, the Great Patriot and father of Founder Principal. His strong support in the establishment and development of Kamala College is ever-memorised.

The college runs B. A., B. Com. B.C. A., M.A. (Home – science) and P. G. Diploma in Yoga Therapy and Career Oriented Courses with the enrollment of 2271 students including Junior Wing of Arts, Commerce and Science.
