The KEAM (Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical) Exam 2016 will be conducted on April 27, 2016 (Paper I) and April 28, 2016 (Paper II). The exam will be conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Thiruvananthapuram. KEAM is a state level entrance examination for the admission to various colleges and institutions located in Kerala state for UG programmes.
Admissions will be available for the following courses:
MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS,BSMS and BUMS
Eligibility criteria
MBBS, BDS, BSMS: The candidates must have passed higher secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50 per cent marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together.
BHMS, BAMS: The candidates must have passed higher secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50 per cent marks in Biology separately, and 50 per cent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together. Biotechnology will not be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.
BUMS: The candidates must have passed higher secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50 per cent aggregate marks in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 50 percent marks in Biology separately.
