Admission Notice- MNNIT Allahabad announces admission for PG Programs 2016
Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad invites applications for admission to part time and sponsored Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Social work (MSW) in Humanities and Social Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Engineering, Management, Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), Geographic Information System (GIS) programs for the academic year 2016-17.
Eligibility Criteria for -
M.Tech Program: Candidate must have bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or a master’s degree in the appropriate discipline of science or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or CPI of 6.5 at the qualifying examination.
MSW Program: Candidate must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or 6.5 CPI in qualifying the examination.
Ph.D. Program: Candidates must have minimum marks of 60% aggregate or 6.5 C.P.I.in qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidate’s minimum marks will be 55% aggregate or 6.0 CPI.
How to Apply-
Candidates can apply on-line.
The application fee is 1200/-. For SC/ST category admission fee is Rs. 600/-.
Fee payment can be made by either online payment mode using credit/debit card, internet banking or offline mode by challan.
Selection Procedure for-
Ph.D. Program: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination and interview conducted by the institute.
M.Tech Program: Admission will be based on written examination conducted by MNNIT Allahabad at the institute campus and counseling to be held at MNNIT Allahabad.
MSW Program: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of written examination conducted by the institute.
Last date for receipt of the printed and signed application form:Friday, May 6, 2016.
Date of written examination:
For MSW/M.Tech programs: Monday, May 23, 2016.
For Ph.D programs: Tuesday, May 24, 2016
