Admission Notice – NIT Tiruchirappalli Announces Admission for M.Sc Programs 2016
NIT Tiruchirappalli invites application for admission to Master of Science (M.Sc) program in Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science at National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli for the academic session 2016-17.
Eligibility Criteria for-
Physics Program: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Physics/Applied Physics.
Chemistry Program: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with Mathematics as one of the ancillary subjects.
Computer Science Program: Candidates should have any bachelor’s degree in science (10+2+3) from a recognized university with at least 6 papers in Computer Science and 2 papers in Mathematics under semester system or at least 3 papers in Computer Science and 1 paper in Mathematics under the annual system.
Candidates who have already passed their qualifying degree examination or who have appeared/are appearing for the final semester/year examination in 2016 are eligible to apply.

Candidates can obtain the application form from the website-
The registration fee is Rs.500/- for OC/OBC and Rs.200/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The payment should be made only through State Bank Collect (SB Collect).
Application forms completed in all respects should reach “The Chairperson (PG Admission), Office of the Dean (Academic), National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli - 620015, Tamil Nadu”.
Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by NITT and the qualifying degree examination marks.
Last date for the receipt of completed application form: Friday, May 27, 2016.
Date of entrance test: Sunday, June 19, 2016.
The announcement of Results: Monday, June 27, 2016.
