DAVV Indore announces admission procedure for M.Tech. (Instrumentation) in School of Instrumentation

The University established School of Instrumentation as its University Teaching Department (UTD) in 1991 with an objective to offer academic and research programmes in instrumentation and allied areas. Formerly it has been known as University Science and Instrumentation Centre level-II. Presently the School has M.Tech. programme in Instrumentation. Initially, it was started as M.S. (Instrumentation) which has been converted in to M.Tech. program after getting the approval from AICTE, New Delhi. The School also offers Ph.D. programme in Instrumentation and in the allied fields. The academic programmes at the School are designed to educate foresight experts in the field of Automation, Process Control, Device Fabrication .

Eligibility:

B.E./ B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Physics with 55% marks in qualifying examination. For sponsored candidates minimum two years working experience after qualifying degree is required. The sponsored candidates have to submit a certificate from the employer on the prescribed Performa.The course is AICTE approved. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates

Age Limit:

As per the government rules the upper age limit for male candidates in admission for postgraduate degree courses it is 27 years as on July 01, 2016. A relaxation of three years in upper age limit for SC / ST / OBC and physically handicapped candidate shall be provided for the applicants of Madhya Pradesh only. For candidate belonging to physically challenged category upper age limit for admission to Post Graduate courses will be 30 and 35 years, respectively. There is no upper age limit for female. Rules and regulations issued by Department of Higher education, M.P.Govt. will be followed

Admission Procedure:

GATE qualified candidates will be preferred for admission. Admissions will be given as per Rank in the GATE. If seats are vacant due to non-availability of the GATE qualified / sponsored candidates, then NONGATE candidates will be admitted.

School of Instrumentation, D.A.V.V., Takshashila Parisar, Khandwa Road, Indore for sponsored candidates

Venue for Counselling:

University Auditorium, Takshashila Parisar, DAVV, Indore-452001
