Admission Process Commenced for Vocational Colleges in DU
With the start of admission process at DU for the under graduate courses in vocational studies, candidates who wish to apply can now send in application forms for admission to Bachelor of Vocational Studies. The admission forms can be submitted through a centralised online registration system.
The admission process for the six undergraduate courses under Bachelor of Vocational Studies began on 1st June, 2016 with a total of 350 seats available for the aspirants.
While getting admission in Bachelor of Vocational Studies, one can only include relatable subjects in the “best four” category. These subjects will be considered at par with other academic subjects.
On completion of first year of college, diplomas will be awarded to the students and an advanced diploma will be awarded after the completion of two successful years. The degree will be awarded only after the successful completion of three years under the Bachelor of Vocational Studies.
Colleges offering the Bachelor of Vocational Studies course:
- Jesus and Mary College, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
- Ramanujan College, Kalkaji, New Delhi.
- Kalindi College, East Patel Nagar, New Delhi.
The diploma, advanced diploma and hence the degree will be awarded by Delhi University.
The admission process has become completely online from this year.
