AFCAT Eligibility 2023: The Indian Air Force released the official notification for AFCAT 2023 in November 2022. The exam for AFCAT Paper 1 2023 is scheduled to commence on 24th February 2023. The air force aspirants must check the AFCAT eligibility criteria 2023 to know the minimum educational qualification, age limit, and other physical requirements for the exam. The AFCAT eligibility 2023 for each branch is mentioned below.

AFCAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants looking to appear for the AFCAT 2023 exam are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirements set by IAF. The two main criteria on which applications are accepted are age and educational qualification.

The educational qualification details for all branches of AFCAT Exam 2023 is shown in the table below:

Completed with 50% marks at 10+2 level in Mathematics and Physics and a 4-year Graduation/Integrated or Post-Graduation in the field of Engineering & Technology from a recognised university

OR

Must have cleared AMIE examination (Section A & B) with at least 60% marks disciples as prescribed by IAF

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics)

Completed with 50% marks at 10+2 level in Mathematics and Physics and a 4-year Graduation/Integrated or Post-Graduation in the field of Engineering & Technology from a recognised university

OR

Must have passed AMIE examination (Section A & B) with at least 60% marks disciples as prescribed by IAF

Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches

Administration

At least 60% marks in Graduation and a 3-year degree course from a recognized university

OR

Must have passed AMIE examination (Section A & B) with at least 60% marks disciples as prescribed by IAF

Weapon System Branch

At least 50% marks at 10+2 level in Mathematics and Physics

At least 60% marks in a 3-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized university

OR

At least 60% marks in 4-year BE/B. Tech. degree from a recognized university

Height:

  • Flying Branch – 162.5 cm
  • Ground duty (Tech-Non tech)
    • Male -157.5 cm
    • Female -152 cm
