AFCAT Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria: The Indian Air Force has released the official notification for AFCAT 2023 recruitment on November 27 on its official website - afcat.cdac.in. Through the recruitment drive, IAF aims to recruit eligible candidates for various posts, including Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Online applications will be invited from December 1 onwards. Before applying, aspirants must check out the AFCAT recruitment 2023 eligibility criteria for all branches here. 

AFCAT 2023 Branch-wise Eligibility Criteria

Candidates looking to appear for the AFCAT recruitment 2023 exam are required to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria set by the authorities. The two main parameters on which applications are accepted are age and educational qualification.

Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical)

At least 50% marks at 10+2 level in Mathematics and Physics and a 4-year degree in Graduation/Integrated or Post-Graduation in the field of Engineering & Technology from a recognized university

OR

Must have passed AMIE examination (Section A & B) with at least 60% marks disciples as prescribed by IAF

Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics)

At least 50% marks at 10+2 level in Mathematics and Physics and a 4-year degree in Graduation/Integrated or Post-Graduation in the field of Engineering & Technology from a recognized university

OR

Must have passed AMIE examination (Section A & B) with at least 60% marks disciples as prescribed by IAF

Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches

Administration

At least 60% marks in Graduation and a 3-year degree course from a recognized university

OR

Must have passed AMIE examination (Section A & B) with at least 60% marks disciples as prescribed by IAF

Weapon System Branch

At least 50% marks at 10+2 level in Mathematics and Physics

At least 60% marks in a 3-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized university

OR

At least 60% marks in 4-year BE/B. Tech. degree from a recognized university
