In the pool of more than six hundred contestants from all over the world, Amrita University also known as Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has come out a winner. The University received a grant of Rs. 79,00,000 which is USD 118,000. This grant is given to Amrita University by National Instruments India Academic Research Grant for its proposal of "Design and Evaluation of DRFM Mitigation System".

The proposal was constructed by Amrita University’s research technology team which includes following people:
- Mr R. Gandhiraj
- Dr T Rajagopalan
- Dr B Binoy
- Dr KP Soman
- Dr DS Harish Ram
The management of the University told the reporters that this money will be used to achieve the best possible result in the field of NI i.e. National Instrument products.
