Anna University will conduct a counselling session for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA 2016) on June 24. Candidates under the sports quota will be counselled first.
On June 25, counselling will be organised for differently-abled students and counselling for the general category will begin on June 27.
According to Anna University registrar S Ganesan, about 1,85,070 applications (as on May 31) have been received by the University online and out of these applications, 1,34,722 candidates have paid their fees.
On June 22, rank letters will be published and students can visit the University’s official website to download their call letters.
For all the girls coming to Chennai for counselling from outside, Anna University will also be making accommodation arrangements for them. The University will provide accommodation to the student and one more female accompaniment on the campus on a first-come-first-serve basis one day prior to their counselling date.
Students wishing to avail accommodation can use the TNEA helplines -- 2235-8265/66/67 -- to register themselves.
