ANU Selected as Skills Development Center
Acharya Nagarjuna University has been selected as Skills Development Center by Andhra Pradesh State Skills Development Corporation. On this occasion Rector of University, Dr. K. Sambasiva Rao conducted a press meet.
He said, “The University has been selected by APSSDC to provide training for B.Tech, B.Com, M.Com and MBA students of University and affiliated colleges. The students are trained in various skills and job oriented courses. The training will be given by resource persons appointed by the APSSDC. The training will be given for a period of 60 days. 100% placements will be assured for students who got trained by APSSDC. M.Com/MBA Tourism students will be trained in Business Process Management. The schedule of training sessions will be released in a couple of days. The training will be given for the Non-Engineering students of colleges affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. Students who are pursuing engineering at various colleges of Andhra Pradesh are eligible to apply for the course”.
The details related to the process of application and other details will be available at University website from 23-May-2016.
Recently the APSSDC has conducted Skills Development Training at Krishna University and affiliated colleges and received a grand response. A mega job fair was conducted and 350 students secured jobs.
