A.P. Education Common Entrance Test (APEd.CET-2016) for the year 2016 will be conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, for admission into B.Ed. regular course. Duration is two years in the University/Un-aided/Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2016-17

Eligibility;
- Applicants must be the citizen of India and should possess the graduation degree in various disciplines like B.A/ B.Sc(home science)/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.C.A/ B.B.M
- Candidates must score the 50% aggregate in graduation for general candidates whereas 40% aggregate for SC/ST candidates
- Aspirants age limit must be more than 19 years
How to Apply;
Eligible candidates can submit their application through online mode. Application registration and processing fee of Rs.400 can be paid at AP Online/Mee seva centers of Andhra Pradesh.
AP EdCET Exam Pattern:
- EdCET question paper contains 150 questions for marks of 150.
- EdCET Exam consists of three sections Part A: General English (25 questions for 25 marks), Part B: General Knowledge (15 questions for 150 marks), Teaching Aptitude (10 Questions for 10 marks) & Part C: Methodology: Candidate has to choose one of the following subjects. It consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
- The duration of the AP EdCET entrance exam will be 120 minutes.
