It has been more than 30 days since the counselling got postponed, and there has been a massive delay in the counselling process. Recently, SBTET AP confirmed that around 77,000 seats are available in Diploma (Polytechnic) courses in Andhra Pradesh, and the approval of AICET is awaited for additional seats in new courses. On the other hand, the Government of Andhra Pradesh is yet to confirm the Diploma fee structure for the academic session 2023-24 which is further delaying the counselling process.

Here are some of the important instructions to exercise web options of AP POLYCET 2023 –- Firstly, the candidates must check the list of colleges and courses with codes so that it will be easy to fill the web options
- Download the Manual Option Entry Form from appolycet.nic.in and fill the college and course options on it
- Review the college options added by you on the Manual Option Form and check the last year’s closing ranks/ last rank to figure out whether your rank is partially matching with the previous year’s cutoff range
- Once you have clarity on what college and course to choose, login on the official website of AP POLYCET counselling to fill the college options online

- Go to the official website- appolycet.nic.in
- Generate a password by clicking on "Candidate Registration"
- Save the password and logout
- Login for exercising the web options. Click on the option entry and then the candidates will receive an OTP
- Enter the OTP and then the list of district wise colleges will be displayed
- Enter the options as per the priority
- Save/ confirm the options and logout
