Student of GITS Launch All Terrain Vehicle

Students of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies in the presence of District Collector Rohit Gupta and Chairman of Geetanjali Group – Mr. J.P Agarwal launched an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) in an event held at GITS campus. The ATV is made by a talented group of engineering students of Geetanjali Institute of Technical Studies (GITS).

During the launching event, students were happy for their project. Institute’s engineering Prof Mr. Rajiv Mathur said, "All Terrain Vehicle is specially designed for all types of roads. The special feature of this vehicle is that they can go up to 50-80km/hr and the base of ATV is 26 centimeters above the ground. It is endowed with many other features such as antitheft alarm system, embedded password etc."

ATV is manufactured by a team of 15 students of GITS’s from second, third and fourth year of mechanical, automobile, electrical and electronics department. During this project students were guided by Prof Rajiv Mathur, Prof Vishnu Agarwal and Dr Manish Sharma.

Mr. J. P. Agrawal- Chairman of Geetanjali group of Institutions informed that the team has won 18th position at All India Level and first position at State Level during a Mega Championship which was held in Bhubaneswar.

Mr. J. P. Agrawal- Chairman of Geetanjali group of Institutions informed that the team has taken18th position at All India Level and the first position at State Level during a Mega Championship which was held in Bhubaneswar.

Prof. Rajiv Mathur stated that to motivate youth, the ATV was presented during a rally organized at Fatehsagar Lake, where 700 engineering students from different colleges had also took part. Vice-Chairman – Mr. Kapil Agarwal, and CEO – Mr. Ankit Agarwal of Geetanjali Gropu of Institutions including GITS Principal Mr. Venu Gopal Rao and Financial Controlller of GITS – Mr. B.L Jangid were also present during the rally.
